This is a heavy duty buzzbait made to catch large bass, stripers, and other aggressive large surface feeding fish.The Jawbreaker is similar to its metal counterparts except it floats at rest.It is made with through wire construction to handle big fish. The overall length is 5.75 inches and weighs 1.5 ounces.It is rigged with 4X 1/0 ST-66 TN Owner trebles and are attached to the lure with SS 3 coil split rings.

I make this lure to commemorate all the bayous, creeks, and ponds that we fished as kids in the forties and fifties. It is also a tribute to all the old magic wooden propeller lures we used like this one, the Nip-I-Diddee and the Devils Horse.

The bearings and counter rotating propellers in front and rear of this Heddon 100 Minnow reproduction are similiar to the originals as are the glass eyes. Handmade wood body of the Crooked Bayou Shiner is 3 inches;overall lure length is4.50  inches long. The Crooked Bayou Shiner is shipped in tissue paper inside custom made box.
